The device connects to the internet over WiFi and can be configured to display anything that can be expressed as a number. For example your gauge could display the current temperature in a city, the depth of snow in a ski resort, or the score in a cricket match. There are many pre-defined 'channels' and it's also possible to build your own. The device has a digital display that indicates what the gauge is showing. Brass buttons on the device switch between 9 pre-set channels. The device is powered by a standard mini-USB cable plugged into a mains adapter or a computer.
